Why our used iPhones are different from a classifieds listing

Three reasons. First, every phone is opened and tested; we do not take the seller's word for battery health, prior repairs or whether it is iCloud locked. Second, we quote one fixed figure per phone, with no haggling and no come-now-for-a-better-price messages. Third, you see the exact phone before paying: photos, the serial and a battery screenshot on WhatsApp, with the warranty and return terms confirmed in writing. You may pay a little more than the cheapest private listing, but you skip the meet, test, bargain and hope cycle and the iCloud lock risk.

Which used iPhone gives the most value in 2026?

Right now it is the iPhone 15 Pro: the A17 Pro chip, a titanium frame, ProMotion display, USB-C and the Action Button, and its value has settled since the 16 and 17 lines launched. For a smaller budget the iPhone 13 or 14 still runs everything current iOS asks of it. For buyers who keep a phone for years, the 17 Pro Max with its aluminium unibody has the most thermal headroom and the biggest battery. Tell us in the quote form what you will actually use it for.

Buying a used iPhone for a child or a parent

A used iPhone is often the right first phone for a teenager or a sensible upgrade for a parent, because the latest model adds little for either. For a child, an iPhone 13 or 14 runs Screen Time, Family Sharing and Ask to Buy, so you control apps, purchases and downtime from your own phone, and a lower replacement cost takes the sting out of a cracked screen. For a parent, a larger model with Display Zoom and bigger text is easier to read, and Crash Detection on the iPhone 14 and later adds peace of mind. What tested and graded means for a used iPhone

Every used iPhone is opened on our bench in Dubai Media City before it is listed. We run a full function test: the display for dead pixels, True Tone and touch response across the whole panel, both cameras with sample shots, every microphone and speaker, Face ID or Touch ID enrolled and tested, the charging port with a real cable, MagSafe alignment where fitted, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular with a live SIM. The IMEI is checked against Apple's records and the blacklist, the previous owner is signed out of iCloud, and a fresh iOS is installed.

The grade describes cosmetics only, because every phone has to pass the same checks to be sold. Grade A looks new, Grade B shows light wear on close inspection, Grade C has visible scratches or edge dings. The grade is photographed on the actual phone.

What you see before you pay for a used iPhone

Before you pay for a used iPhone we send, on WhatsApp, photos of the exact phone, its serial and IMEI, and a screenshot of its battery screen. With them we give the model, storage and colour, the iOS version, the cosmetic grade, whether the phone is UAE spec or an import, its network lock status and what is in the box. Settings, General, About shows the same serial and IMEI, so you can match them yourself at handover.

Battery health on a used iPhone, shown before you pay

We open Settings, Battery on the bench and send you a screenshot of the Maximum Capacity reading, with the cycle count on models that show it. Apple designs iPhone batteries to keep up to 80 percent of their original capacity at their rated cycle count, so a phone reading below that is described plainly as a worn battery, never hidden. Ask through the quote form for the screenshot of the exact phone you are considering.

What is in the box with a used iPhone

The iPhone and an original Apple charging cable of the right type, USB-C or Lightning. A power adapter is not included as standard, just as Apple no longer puts one in a new iPhone box. The original Apple box with the matching IMEI is included only when the previous owner kept it, and we tell you on WhatsApp whether it is there. The phone arrives erased at the Hello screen, ready for your own Apple Account.

Live stock, warranty and return terms on a used iPhone

Our stock is individual phones bought back from UAE owners, so it changes as units come off the bench and this page does not promise any particular model. When phones are listed they appear in the live stock panel on this page; otherwise fill in the quote form with the model, storage and colour you want and we reply with what is on the shelf, with photos. We confirm the warranty and return terms for the exact unit in writing on WhatsApp before you pay. Collect from Dubai Media City and inspect first, or take delivery.

Trading in your current iPhone against a used iPhone

Fill in the quote form with the model, storage and condition of the iPhone you have now and we quote it as a buyback. If you accept, the quote comes off the used iPhone you are buying, and your old phone is checked against its description and collected at the same handover, so you are never without a phone.
