Sell your RTX 4090
for cash.

Devices and condition

• Does SellYourMac.ae still buy the GeForce RTX 4090 now that the 5090 is out?

Yes. The RTX 4090 with 24GB of GDDR6X memory on the Ada Lovelace architecture, released in 2022, remains one of the cards the desk buys most, because its memory still runs most local AI models and 4K games. Send the exact card name in the quote form for a written AED quote that holds for 1-5 days, with free pickup in all 7 emirates.

• How do I find out which RTX 4090 I have before messaging?

Open GPU-Z or the NVIDIA app and read the board partner and model, or check the sticker on the backplate or the original box: Founders Edition, ASUS ROG Strix or TUF, MSI Suprim or Gaming X, Gigabyte Gaming OC, Zotac AMP, Palit GameRock and so on. Enter the name on that sticker in the quote form and the desk prices that specific card.

• What does an RTX 4090 usually sell for compared with a new card?

The desk does not publish figures on this page because a used RTX 4090 moves with the model, cooler condition, memory health, usage history and whether the box and receipt are present. The written quote is the number that counts, and it holds for 1-5 days so you can compare it with the trade-in credit a retailer offers on the same card.

• Is the 16-pin power adapter and the original cable needed when I sell an RTX 4090?

Include the four-way 8-pin to 16-pin adapter and any partner cable if you still have them, since the next owner needs a matched cable and the set adds to the figure. If they are gone the card is still bought as a bare unit. Photograph the card's 16-pin socket before you message so any heat marks are priced in the written quote, not at the door.

• Can I sell an RTX 4090 with a water block or a replaced cooler?

Yes, with a note. A card on a full-cover water block is bought and priced as a modified unit, and the offer is higher if you still have the original air cooler and screws to ship with it. A card that has been repasted or had thermal pads replaced is fine as long as you say so, since the desk checks the warranty seal during the bench test.

• Does SellYourMac.ae buy an RTX 4090 that artifacts, black-screens or is not detected?

Yes. Faulty cards are priced for repair or parts rather than turned away, because the desk refurbishes in house. Describe the fault plainly in the quote form: green or pink artifacts, crashes under load, a card that is not seen in Device Manager, or a fan that has stopped. The written quote reflects the repair cost and does not change at the door.

• Can I put my RTX 4090 toward an RTX 5090 or a Mac Studio instead?

Yes. The trade-in desk values the RTX 4090 at the same written figure and offsets it against an RTX 5090, a Mac Studio or a Mac Pro in stock, with only the difference settled by transfer. Collection of the old card and delivery of the new one are free across the UAE. Cash is always available instead if you would rather buy elsewhere.

Pickup and areas

• What happens at pickup when I sell an RTX 4090?

The courier seats the card in a test rig, confirms it reports as an RTX 4090 with 24GB, runs a short stress loop to watch clocks, temperatures and memory stability, checks all fans spin and looks at the 16-pin socket. If the card matches its quote form description the quoted figure is paid by bank transfer (at the door in Dubai) or in cash before the courier leaves. From other emirates, payment is by bank transfer: part at collection, the rest once the device is checked.

Price and payment

• Will heavy AI training or mining use lower my RTX 4090 offer?

It is priced for that use rather than declined. Tell the desk in the quote form roughly how long the card ran and at what power limit. The bench test then pays closer attention to fan bearings, thermal pad condition and memory errors under load. A card that ran power-limited in an air-conditioned room often grades well despite long hours.

• How long does an RTX 4090 quote from SellYourMac.ae hold?

A written RTX 4090 quote holds for 1-5 days from the written quote. If the card matches its description and photos at pickup, the figure paid is the figure quoted, with no renegotiation at the door. 70 verified Google reviews describe that same handover across Apple devices and graphics cards.

People also ask

• Is a used RTX 4090 still a good card to sell in 2026?

Yes. Its 24GB of memory keeps it in demand with local AI users, 3D artists and 4K gamers in the UAE who do not need the newest generation. Demand for working, well-kept cards stays steady, and a written SellYourMac.ae quote holds for 1-5 days while you decide.

• Should I sell my RTX 4090 before or after buying the replacement?

Get the written quote first, then buy the replacement inside the 1-5 day window so you are never without a card. If you are moving to an RTX 5090 or a Mac Studio, the trade-in desk can collect the old card and deliver the new one in the same visit.

• Does GPU sag or a bent bracket affect an RTX 4090 offer?

Mild sag from a heavy cooler is normal and does not change the grade. A bracket bent from shipping or a cracked PCB near the slot is noted during the bench test and priced honestly. Mention either in the quote form so the written quote already reflects it before the courier arrives.

• Can I sell an RTX 4090 that came inside a prebuilt PC?

Yes. Cards from Alienware, HP Omen, Lenovo Legion or a boutique builder are bought on model and condition, even without a retail box. Enter the card name from GPU-Z or the backplate sticker in the quote form. If you are selling the whole workstation too, the desk quotes both together.
